Kama accepting the Black Excellence Award from the 66ers Negro League.
During the 103rd Negro League Tribute Celebration, Loving Me 1st was recognized by the Inland Empire's very own, the San Bernardino 66ers Minor League Baseball team. During the celebration, Loving Me 1st was awarded the Black Excellence Award, along with the non-profit of the night! It's an honor to join the storied past recipients, and we are so grateful for the recognition!
The event acted as a meet and greet and community tribute to the Negro Baseball League in honor of its 103rd year in action! The event also offered community services, including a resource fair, with opportunities for job assistance, transportation assistance, low-cost health insurance, and so much more.
Loving Me 1st is honored to be recognized among the historical figures, community leaders and local businesses. The ceremony was presented in collaboration with the Riverside Community Black Chamber of Commerce (RCBCC), First Community Capital (FCC), and Jacquetta Green Marketing Services (JGMS). The event was beautiful, and we couldn't be more proud!
