FINAL COUNT - 700 PAIRS COLLECTED!

From January 8th to April 5th, Loving Me 1st was on a mission to collect 2500 pairs of shoes to in partnership with funds2orgs.com. While the final count did not meet the initial goal, there's still plenty to be grateful for! 

The Loving Me 1st community came together, and donated 700 pairs of new, and gently-worn shoes! The shoes were collected, and the final count was completed on April 5th, after an extension to the original shoe drive dates. 

By participating in this shoe drive, supporters were able to clean out their closets, while contributing to a greener planet. The shoes collected have skipped the landfill, and they are able to have a new life and purpose. Once the shoes were collected from the Loving Me 1st offices, they are processed to be sent to entrepreneurs across the globe, to be sold in their small businesses, supporting the economic landscape in developing countries. 

Every pair of shoes donated offered a step towards empowerment, funding, and sustainability. Every pair collected also put more money into the Loving Me 1st program, strengthening the impact of the curriculum for the girls and young ladies served.
